カリフォルニア州は、新しい法案を発表しました。

これによると、全国に 100 か所以上の店舗を持つファースト フード チェーン店に限り、従業員に 時給最低 賃金22 ドルを払わなくてはいけないことを要求するという案です。

AB257 と呼ばれるこの法案。

ファストフード業界のリーダーから反対を受けています。

この対象は、大規模に展開している大手ファーストフードチェーンのみ。

競争社会において、不利な立場に置かれることになり、不公平だという声が上がっています。

California has a new bill that would require fast food chains with more than 100 locations nationally to pay their workers a minimum of 22 USD per hour. The bill called AB257 has received objections from leaders in the fast food industry due to the fact that it only requires large chains to comply with the new law leaving them at a competitive disadvantage.
